When we get burnt, there are various wrong methods that have been practiced over the years to deal with it including the use of oil, ice and even toothpaste (Amazing how people use this).
But all these materials are wrong, below is the list of right materials useable for effective healing:
 OINTMENT :
There are various ointments to use with very powerful antibiotics like penicillin ointment or Shea butter (ori) etc. These help heal the burns faster and also prevent infections.
 COOL WATER :
Notice I didn’t say “cold water”. So if you ever get burnt again, don’t go rushing to apply cold water instead use cool water over the affected area for up to 15mins before applying treatments.
  AVOID EXPOSURE :
If the burn is exposed to excess sunlight, it can cause major reactions and can also worsen the situation.
  HONEY :
Yes, it’s not only good for its sweet taste. Honey also has antibacterial, antiinflammatory and antiviral properties making it a good material to use for mild burns.
