A new course?

Forensic science

Ok it sounds funny how any Nigerian University would offer such a course, honestly I was surprised when I saw it

I was scrolling through alternative courses I could go for and my eyes met with the words ” forensic science”, I didn’t believe it until I made calls and I confirmed it was a course to be offered

I did my online research and looked through the opportunities I could get and I was happy with what I saw…my thoughts were_” I could further my education outside the country and probably get a job there, even if I didn’t,I could stay here and get a nice job

I’ve been asked frequently what forensic science means..well Forensic science is the application of scientific knowledge and methodology to criminal investigations and legal problems. Forensic Science is a multidisciplinary subject, it encompasses various fields of science such as chemistry, biology, physics, geology, psychology, social science, engineering, etc.

Top designation in the field of forensic science include

_forensic engineer
_ crime scene investigator
_forensic psychologist
_investigative officers
_forensic scientist

There’s more but this are my favorites and they could work anywhere in the health sector😉 but they’re more useful as security officers.
