Living a Healthy lifestyle is essential and like the word lifestyle which means ‘A way of living’, it should be part of our daily lives.
#1- Eat healthy:
This part shouldn’t be difficult, selecting food before consumption is a step towards a healthy lifestyle.
-Avoid fatty meals
-Eat more of fruits and vegetables.
-Make a food table and leave out starchy meals.
#2- Drink plenty of Water:
It is as essential as eating healthy, doctors recommend drinking of water immediately you wake up from sleep, it helps the body rehydrate and gives energy to carry out day to day activities. At least 3litres of water daily or maybe less since we have to save during these times. Still make it a duty to drink enough water!
This part is a struggle for most people (I am guilty) – I mean doing sit-ups, planks, skipping, weight lighting even jogging can be a whole lot of work for me and I’ve been working towards this lazy lifestyle and its helping a lot. I’ll drop a post on how to overcome the lazy lifestyle if you are like me.
- I can’t overemphasize the need to exercise for a healthy lifestyle. It should be a part of our daily lives, exercising has so many benefits like boosting energy, great body shape the list goes on.
- It doesn’t necessarily need to be at the gym, it can be done in our homes and also given the current lockdown situation. Get a workout app plus some music and live healthy!
#4- Plenty Rest:
This isn’t a problem for many at this point, due to the pandemic we are currently facing. Reducing stress should be part of our lifestyle at any chance we get, we need plenty of rest.
Sleeping reduces stress and it is advisable to sleep at most 8 hours daily to enable enough energy to carry out daily activities.
Living healthy should be your priority..
